The European Union Dream - A setback
The European Union accomplishments are commendable. Even though the dominant underlying idea of the formation of the EU is peace, there is an expectation that there will, one day, be a powerful United States of Europe. Nation-states having diverse cultures have come together to form a union which is expected to challenge American hegemony. This seemingly impossible dream got a little setback this week. The Lisbon Treaty which needs to be ratified by the 26 EU members was rejected by the Irish (coverage available in related resources below).
What should the EU do now? The FT Editorial (see below) has interesting suggestions, according to them, it is not a crisis of confidence, instead, look at parts of the treaty which are practically implementable.

At the end of WW II ex french possession called Germany was defeated.
Germany have been unlucky in establishing a true Nationn inside its borders. It is History.
It was Napoleon 1st whot set actual political Germany which was very much like ancient India, divided into landlords? Napoleon set a true state in germany and leave a united country with legal law and political order.
Germany, since Napeolon 1st understood the bright "Vista" that led Napoleon and Germany tried to apply to FRANCE what France did to Germany, and that lead to three wars ; 1870, 1914, 1940.
Germany having losen the two las wars, Germany intented to push an Economic and Financial war inside of France and that was first calle CECA then CE and EU.
Each of these three stages resumed in poverty, job loses, disparition of entire segment of industry, mainly in france.
If you are smart, you promote innovation and cost reductio through innovative ways of production. If you are not smart and not intelligent you conduct a policy of downsizing, millions of people without job, installing poverty as a way to control Economy and Finance.
I wish, i hope Indian people wil not choose the dumbass way european suffer !
